Gabriel Davis
Gabriel Davis is 17 years old and from New South Wales. He has successfully received a youth grant to further his independency by getting learner driver lessons! Achieving his Provisional License will help Gabriel access his post-school options of further study. This will help build confidence in driving and allow him to improve his independency and be involved in his community. Gabriel will be working on advocating for himself as he and his instructor will tailer the lessons to suit him and his hearing loss.

Cameron Love
Cameron Love is 13 years old from South Australia. Cameron will be using his grant to represent South Australia in the International Youth Football/Soccer Tournament, SingaCup! Cameron is incredibly committed to soccer, training every day and hopes that the Signacup Tournament will lead to a career in professional soccer where he can encourage other deaf kids around the world to follow their dreams.

Saachi Ti’en
Saachi Ti’en is 14 years old from Western Australia. Saachi is very passionate about screenwriting and filmmaking. She will be attending two courses to further her development and career opportunities. Saachi wants to use her creative aspirations for good and use her viewpoints as a young, deaf screenwriter to contribute to a more grounded and inclusive film industry. Saachi is already working on two original screenplays and will use the Grant to improve and develop these projects.

Cooper Techamuanvivit
Cooper Techamuanvivit is 16 years old from New South Wales. Cooper is incredibly passionate and talented in Piano. He will be using the youth grant to further his studies and achieve his level (Grade 7) AMEB Qualification in Piano. Cooper is a wonderful example of breaking the stigma that deaf or hard of people cannot enjoy music. Cooper hopes to one day teach others to play piano.
Maya Sandon
Maya Sandon is 17 from Victoria. Maya will be using her youth grant to create a short film/media promotion about her passions connecting to her identity as a Deaf person. She is motivated and wants to create more Deaf/HoH representation in a diverse community where deaf people aren’t seen much.
Maya will utilise the funds to become a role model to other deaf and hard of hearing children and prove that Deaf people can do anything.

Zara Dippolito
Zara Dippolito is 15 years old from Victoria. Zara is interested in leading a career in beauty. She will be using the youth grant to take a VET Course in beauty. Zara looks forward to her studies leading to a career and hopes to inspire other deaf individuals to pursue their passions, showing that barriers can be overcome in any industry with the right support. Congratulations Zara!
Charlotte Cave
Charlotte is 18 from Victoria. Charlotte is interested in storytelling, performing and reading. Charlotte wants to use the grant to study a course in voice over. She hopes to use this grant as a way to start a career following her passion of voice artistry. She aims to access a recording studio, find an agent to represent her and help pursue her interests in creating her own animation short films.
