Simon Moore and his wife Vicky became proud parents early last year. Their beautiful little girl Alice was born with Treacher Collins syndrome, a genetic condition characterised by facial disfigurement and often accompanied by hearing loss. Neighbours have criticised the family’s choice to keep their little girl, branding it ‘cruel’. However, the community has shown their support for the family with many positive comments appearing on the Daily Mail’s website.
DCA recently posted a story on Davie, who also has Treacher Collins syndrome. His mum and dad are working hard to give Davie a bright future with DCA’s help. Read the story on our Parents page.
