Sign For Work is a free specialist employment support service with offices in Brisbane and Perth, and St Kilda Road and Collingwood in Melbourne. We assist job seekers who are deaf or hard of hearing, those who have been out of work for short periods or long term, who have been retrenched or are mature aged. We support indigenous jobseekers along with those who may have a disability or health concern, or who are living with anxiety or depression. We are able to help them find and keep meaningful and sustainable employment.If you are you at risk of losing your job, having difficulties at work or communication with employers and co-workers is a struggle, we can help. Sign For Work’s Job in Jeopardy program is designed to assist you to maintain your current employment. We can provide assistance towards solving workplace difficulties through workplace modifications, employer and staff mediation, and ongoing support.Sign For Work offers a fresh approach to recruitment, assisting employers to recruit from our pool of job seekers who are often highly skilled, experienced and keen to find work. Our service is completely free as the government pays for us to provide assistance to job seekers and employers.
As a business initiative of Deaf Children Australia, Sign For Work has a strong understanding for, and respect of, people who are deaf or hard of hearing. All funds generated by Sign For Work go back to the charity of Deaf Children Australia.
