The company is governed by a Board of Directors, the majority of whom are elected at general meetings of the company. The board can co-opt additional members. Membership of the company is open to any individual, corporation or body, and the Board may also appoint Life members. As a Not-for-Profit charitable entity, the Directors are very keen to maintain an open and democratic membership as a feature of our company ethos.
Deaf Children Australia welcomes new members. If you have a personal or professional interest in deafness and feel a connection to our strategic purpose, we invite you to join us to help make a difference and shape the future of service provision.
Membership entitles you to:
• Receive a discount on the purchase of our resources
• Attend and vote at our Annual General Meetings
• Receive invitations to consultations
• Receive publications such as our Annual Report and Flying Kites newsletter

To apply to become a member, please complete the Application for Membership form and send it to email@example.com. Your application will be circulated to the Board for consideration and you will be notified of the outcome in writing.
