Deaf Children Australia is looking for a friendly volunteer to help a 16 year old male in the Greater Geelong region with short term travel training. You would need to be available on Fridays between the hours of 9:30am – 3pm. You would need some Auslan skills and would preferably be fluent. All expenses will be covered and we can make some contribution towards covering your time.

Training for yourself will be provided by DCA youth worker Matthew Norman. Travel will be in the Greater Geelong region and may include catching public transport to and from Melbourne.

Travel training will enable this young man to prepare to independently travel to work experience and work opportunities.
The successful applicant will be required to undergo a Police Check and Working with Children Check. We will cover costs for this process.

Please contact Matthew on 0420 749 986 (SMS only) or email matthew.norman@deafchildren.org.au if you are interested in this position.

Please spread the word and help us find someone who can help!
