News Article

IMG_5177Auslan for Families Classes have just kicked off for 2016 and are now being held at DCA.

If you are deaf of hard of hearing, this could be a great opportunity to build your Australian Sign Language (Auslan) skills together with your family.

The ten week course is running from 10am – 12pm for one group and 2pm – 4pm for another group each Sunday during school terms.

Supervised recreation will be provided for around an hour, during which time you will have the opportunity to practise your Auslan informally and have fun with friends. You will also join the adults for part of each class so everyone has the chance to learn together. There is currently a waiting list but there may be some further availability so if you are interested in attending with your family, contact Mai to discuss.

Venue: Fenton Hall, Deaf Children Australia, 597 St Kilda Rd Melbourne. Enter DCA car park from High Street. Fenton Hall is next to the car park and Tradeblock Café.
