Are communication barriers holding your son or daughter back from playing football? If they are between 5 and 12 years of age and deaf or hard of hearing, they might want to try Auslan Auskick!

DeafNT are running an Auslan Auskick program for the first time with the generous support of the City of Darwin. This will make footy more fun and accessible for children who are deaf and hard of hearing by offering the regular Auskick program delivered in Australian Sign Language (Auslan). Supported by communication guides working with the coaches, players have full access to information in Auslan, enabling them to be their very best on the footy field. Of course, other siblings are welcome to join up for Auskick too. See the flyer here or click the flyer image below.

In Term 2, AFLNT Auskick Clinics at Tracy Village and Nightcliff Football Clubs in Darwin, will be offering Auslan Auskick together with their regular Auskick programs. Auslan Auskick runs over 8 weeks in conjunction with the AFLNT Auskick Seasons.
